Who doesn’t love a sneaky treat in the fridge? This tiffin is great for this and it has cherries in it, so that means it is healthy right?
This tiffin can be made easily and quickly and put into the fridge to set and make 12 great little cakes that are a perfect little (well, they’re quite big) treat.
How to make it
Chocolate, Cherry & Ginger Tiffin

- Ingredients
- 100g butter
- 300g milk chocolate
- 50g golden syrup
- 300g ginger biscuits
- 200g cherries cut in half (leave 12 spare for the tops)
- 75g white chocolate
- Instructions
- Melt 150g of the milk chocolate with the butter and syrup in a pan and leave to one side
- Line a large square tin with baking paper
- Blitz half of the ginger biscuits in a food processor, then out in the other half and break up a small amount (so there is fine crumbs and a larger pieces)
- Put the cherry halves in a bowl with the biscuit and chocolate mix
- Mix well and add the mixture to your square tin, pushing the mixture into the corners and making sure it is even
- Melt the other 150g of the milk chocolate and pour over the biscuit base
- Melt the white chocolate and then gently pour over the mixture and with a skewer drag out the white chocolate to create a marbleised effect
- Put the 12 cherries onto the top in even spaces (this will make the 12 pieces)
- Put in the fridge to set for 2 hours
